Dr. McKalip is a Cartersville neurosurgeon and Christian conservative leader in the community. He will work on the Bartow County School Board for “Better Schools and Lower Taxes”.
Dr McKalip was the TOP vote-earner in the primary at 44.8%. That means there is a RUNOFF against Deanna Berry (who only received 37%)

Dr. McKalip is the only candidate pledging to vote to freeze property taxes (or lower) first year in office.

Berry repeatedly said NO and confirmed it at the GOP Candidate Forum on 4/13. Berry won’t even promise to keep tax hikes no higher than rate of inflation!
